Mitchell Piano Service

I stock a number of products that will help you maintain your piano. These include cabinet cleaning products and caster cups (prevents damage to rugs and hardwood floors). Also available (by order) are humidity control systems, piano covers, benches, bench pads, sheet music storage chests and piano lamps (both classical and contemporary).

Cabinet & Key Cleaning

For cleaning the exterior of your piano, I recommend Cory Products:

Cory Care kits are available for either Lacquered or Polyester finish pianos. These include wood polish, Key-Bright, one polisher cloth and one cleaner cloth. This kit is the perfect set of products to keep the cabinet and keys of your instrument looking good. $24.50 / kit

Wooden Caster Cups

Stocked in ebony, walnut or natural (unfinished). I have a set of these under our 6' grand and they do an excellent job of protecting the carpet.

Other colors and finishes are available by order, as are larger cups for dual or oversize casters. (note - I do not recommend plastic caster cups since my experience has been that they do not last.)

Humidity Control

Fluctuations in humidity are the biggest enemy to tuning stability. To minimize these effects, thousands of people have had the Piano Life Saver system installed in their piano. I can provide further information and a quote for installation.
